Hatch Embroidery is developed for Windows operating systems and does not run natively on macOS.

However, many customers successfully run Hatch on a Mac by installing Windows using virtualization software such as Parallels Desktop.

Apple Silicon Macs (M1, M2, M3, M4)

  • Requires:
    • Parallels Desktop (latest version recommended)
    • Windows 11 ARM Edition
  • This is the only supported method for Apple Silicon Macs
System Requirements (Mac + Parallels)
  • Minimum: 16GB RAM
  • Recommended: 32GB RAM or higher for best performance
Important Notes
  • Hatch must be installed inside the Windows virtual machine, not on macOS
  • Apple Silicon Macs require ARM-based Windows only
