Looking for a quick way to create stunning designs like flowers or wreaths? The Circle Layout tool in your Create Layouts toolbox is an efficient way to duplicate and arrange objects in a circular pattern.
How to Use the Circle Layout Tool:
Create Your First Object:
- Digitize the first object, such as a petal for a flower.
Open the Circle Layout Tool:
- Select your object and go to the Create Layouts toolbox.
- Click on Circle Layout.
Customize Your Layout:
- Use the Context toolbar to set the number of objects (e.g., petals in a flower).
- Drag the new objects to arrange them in your desired circular layout.
Overlapping Objects:
When objects overlap, you’ll be prompted to merge or keep them separate:
- Select “No”:
- Keeps objects as individual pieces, allowing you to apply different stitch angles or colors.
- Select “Yes”:
- Merges overlapping objects into a single object with a uniform color and stitch angle.
Creative Uses:
- Use the Circle Layout tool to design:
- Flowers with uniform or varying petals.
- Wreaths for intricate and decorative patterns.
