Unable to get user session following successful sign-in error when logging into Hatch

When signing in to Hatch Embroidery, you may receive the following error:















Follow the STEPS below:

Hatch V4:
  • Close the Hatch Login Screen and any open programs
  • Open the Windows 11 Start menu and find the Hatch Embroidery 4 program folder.
  • Select Revert.
  • In the Revert To Factory Settings window, select Web Cache only. - Note: Do not select the other options, as they may reset your Hatch settings, templates or toolbar layout.
  • Click OK.
  • If running the Revert tool results in "Feature has expired (H0041)" error, please continue with the Manual Solution below.
  • Open Hatch Embroidery and sign in again.

    Hatch Embroidery V4 and V3 manual solution :
    1. First tell Windows to show hidden items. https://help.hatchembroidery.com/portal/en/kb/hatch/general/general/articles/how-to-show-any-hidden-folder-eg-the-programdata-folder

    2. Close Hatch Embroidery completely.

    3. Open File Explorer.

    4. Browse to the folder for your Hatch version:

      Hatch Embroidery 4

      C:\ProgramData\Wilcom\Hatch Embroidery\Hatch Embroidery 4\CEF

      Hatch Embroidery 3

      C:\ProgramData\Wilcom\Hatch Embroidery\3\CEF

    5. Delete the CEF folder and all its contents.

    6. Restart your computer.

    7. Open Hatch Embroidery and sign in again.
