What file formats does Hatch Embroidery read and write?

People often ask "Does Hatch Embroidery work with my machine? I don't see it listed."

The answer is almost always "YES!"

It is more important to see if Hatch Embroidery writes/saves/exports to a file format that your embroidery machine can read.

See the list of "Export design to:" listed below and see if your file type is available. If you don't see it, you may want to Google your machine name and file type as they usually accept multiple file types and your machine may use one of those listed.

Below are the available file types for Hatch Embroidery

Note: Those with an asterisk (*) are for Hatch Embroidery 2 & 3

Additional Notes:

.EMB is your “Working File”.  Save all designs to .EMB before you export to your machine format for the best future editing of the design.

Machine formats are your “stitch” file.  You only need to export them to your machine format when you are ready to stitch them out.

They do not retain as much information as the .EMB file.  Some cannot retain colors.
