Toolbars or Dockers misplaced or missing information - Reset Toolbar Layout

Toolbars or Dockers misplaced or missing information

For various reasons you may run into these issues sometimes:

  • Your re-sequence docker will not stay open or opens with lines.
  • Your Toolbars are misplaced
  • All of your Toolbars are open at one time one under the other
  • Your Dockers are empty and missing icons

Solution: Reset the Toolbar Layout.

FIRST: check what version of Hatch you are running.

Help > About > the last line will tell you

Then close your software

Now, proceed below with the correct version.

 

Follow these steps for Hatch V3
1) Close your Hatch Embroidery software
2) Open "File Explorer" in Windows
3) Go to the folder, C:\Program Files\Wilcom\Hatch Embroidery 3\BIN
4) Locate the file "ResetProfile.BAT"  and double-click it or right-click and select Run as Administrator 

 



Follow these steps for Hatch V2.0D or later
1) Close your Hatch Embroidery software
2) Open "File Explorer" in Windows
3) Go to the folder, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Wilcom\Hatch Embroidery 2\BIN
4) Locate the file "ResetProfile.BAT"  and double-click it

 

 

Note: a black window will appear with a flashing cursor.  Give it about 10 seconds and it should be finished and then you can close the window.

 The toolbar layout of the Hatch Embroidery software interface is reset

5) Restart Hatch

 

Follow these steps for Hatch V1 or V2.0
1) Close your Hatch Embroidery software
2) Open "File Explorer" in Windows
3) Go to the folder, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Wilcom\Hatch Embroidery Software V1\BIN
4) Locate the file "ResetProfile.BAT"  and double-click it



Note: The toolbar layout of the Hatch Embroidery software interface is reset

5) Restart Hatch
