My design changes position in machine after I have offset it in the hoop

My embroidery design changes position in embroidery machine after I have offset it in the hoop

Sometimes you will want to set your design in a specific location within the hoop. But when you take the design to your machine it is positioned in the center again.

Why?

It could be that the machine will always position the design to the center of the hoop (many do).  If this is the case, it does not matter how you save it in the software, the machine would override your settings.

Here is a great workaround for you:

Also: If you move your design and it does not stay in the position you placed it in the software, you may need to change your hoop position to "manual".

Right click on the hoop icon on the toolbar at the top.
Most likely it is set to automatic
Change it to Manual

Then position your design.
