Hatch includes 87 different predefined color charts but there are always others that users wish to create or import.
Creating a detailed chart can take a few hours of time. With Hatch you are able to share these custom charts with other Hatch users in order to save them time.
Below are the steps explaining how you can find your custom chart and share it or how to add a chart you received from another Hatch user.
All Thread charts standard or custom are saved in .tch files in the “res” program folder.
Close the Hatch Embroidery Software
If you have V2.1D or V2.1D_R2 or V2.1D_R3 follow these steps:
1. Close your Hatch software
2. Move or copy the file to
C:\ProgramData\Wilcom\Hatch Embroidery\RES\ThreadCharts
3. Restart your Hatch software
4. You should now have the new chart listed as a Thread Chart option.
If you have v2.0:
Please update your software to the latest release. You can download it here: https://hatchembroidery.com/re-download-hatch-embroidery-2/
If you have V1 follow these steps:
1. Close your Hatch software
2. Move or copy the file to this location:
CC:\Program Files (x86)\Wilcom\Hatch Embroidery Software V1\RES
3. Restart your Hatch software
4. You should now have the new thread chart listed as a Thread Chart option.
