How do I change the thread at the bottom (Design Palette) to my own thread brand?

You can change the threads at the bottom (Design Palette) to your own thread brand either for a single design or save to your Normal template.  When saving to your normal template, this thread brand will always open as the New Blank Design.

How to change the threads in the Design Palette to my own threads for a single design:

Open your design

Open the Threads Docker (on right side of screen)

Assign your desired brand of thread if not already showing (see below if you do not know how to do this)

Click “Match All” icon on the far right side of Threads Docker

Your thread brand will now be assigned to the Design Palette threads at the bottom of the screen

How to change the threads in the Design Palette to my own threads so that a New Blank Design always opens with my threads assigned at the bottom

File Menu > open a “New Blank Design”. (You should see a selection of threads at the bottom)

No other designs should be open in your software at this time.  If they are, close them.

Open the Threads Docker (on right side of screen)

Assign your desired brand of thread if not already showing (see below if you do not know how to do this)

Click “Match All” icon on the far right side of My Thread Docker

Your thread brand will now be assigned to the Design Palette threads at the bottom of the screen

Now save to your Normal Template so it will always open with a New Blank Design File:

Click File Menu > Save As Template

Select the "Hatch3.JTM" file and click "Save"

Your thread brand will now open each time you open a "New Blank Design" until you change it in your normal template file.

How to assign your own thread brand if it is not showing in the My Threads Docker:

To select a different thread brand:

Click “Thread Charts” icon on far left side of Threads Docker

Your Thread Charts will now be displayed. You can add or remove Thread Charts.
