How Can I Save My Background, Grid, and Template Preferences in Hatch Embroidery?

Do you customize your workspace by changing the background color, toggling the grid, template, or hoop on or off? If so, you can save these settings permanently to ensure your preferences are applied every time you open a new design.

Setting and Saving Your Preferences:

  1. Adjust Your Workspace:

    • Customize your workspace as desired. For example:
      • Set a white background.
      • Turn the grid on and set it to 0.10 x 0.10 inches.
    • Ensure no designs are open and start with a new blank design.

  2. Save Your Preferences as a Template:

    • In Hatch Embroidery, go to File -> Save as Template.
    • Name your template file:
      • For Hatch Embroidery 3, save it as Hatch3.JMT.
      • For Hatch Embroidery 2, save it as Hatch2.JMT.

  3. Enjoy Your Custom Workspace:
    Next time you open a blank design, your preferences will load automatically!
